Programme overview
The Erasmus Mundus European Master in Animal Biodiversity and Genomics (EMABG) is a two‑year joint master’s (120 ECTS) offered by a consortium of six leading European universities. Students study at one partner university in the first year and move to a second partner for the second year, choosing from specialisations such as quantitative genetics, conservation genomics, bioinformatics, or One Health.
Who can apply
Open to applicants worldwide who hold a recognised Bachelor of Science (minimum 180 ECTS) in Animal Science, Biology, Zoology, Agricultural Science, Veterinary Medicine or a closely related discipline. Candidates must prove English proficiency (IELTS 7.0, TOEFL 92, or equivalent) unless exempt, and submit a short motivation video.
What the scholarship covers

- Upload and submit – Attach all PDFs and the video, review the application, and submit before the 15 January 2027 deadline.
